Drunken Actress Nuisance On TV Show

Malayalam Actress Urvasi who is well known to Telugu and Tamil movie goers for her comedy act in many hit movies is in news for wrong reasons.

Royal Kavadiyar, President of Protection Force Shefin filed a complaint in The Kerala State Human Rights Commission against inebriated Urvasi for misbehaving in a popular TV show in Malayalam.

The Commission sought a reply from Malayalam TV channel on alleged misbehavior of Urvasi with some of the participants. 

Complainant also added that Urvasi was drunk and misbehaved with participants of the program in a cultureless manner. 

Kavadiyar also said, Urvasi used foul language and was making fun of people from economically backward society.

The Human Rights Commission acting chairman P Mohandas asked the channel management to file an explanation within a month.

From a senior actress like Urvasi, this is clearly unexpected. Hope some common sense prevails and she renders an unconditional apology if the words from Kavadiyar are true. Last year too, Urvasi did the same. She addressed an event of Kerala Assembly’s women employees in a drunken state.
