Nikhil Overtakes Raviteja!

Young hero Nikhil riding high on back to back commercial hits including last ones Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and Keshava is currently to join the Telugu remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. While shooting updates are yet to be reported officially, what we hear in fresh from film sources is Nikhil also signed one more Tamil remake and it’s the 2016 action thriller Kanithan.

Directed by TN Santosh and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film was a commercial hit in Kollywood starring Atharva, Catherine Tresa, Tarun Arora in lead roles. 

Ever since the film was released in 2016, it attracted the interests of Telugu producers and heroines. Few months back, we have read the reports on Raviteja might be roped to play the lead in Telugu remake but an official announcement wasn’t made.

Apparently, Nikhil has almost overtaken Raviteja in this regard and signed Kanithan remake for the same director TN Santosh to helm Telugu version. While Bujji and Tagore Madhu are eyeing to bag remake rights, Kalaipuli S Thanu is willing to produce Telugu version on his banner. A clear update is expected very soon.
