Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja's brother Bharat's sad demise in a road accident threw entire family into the state of agony. Ravi Teja, however, brickbatted by critics for staying away from funerals of his brother. He didn't pay last respects to his brother either. Obviously, media backlashed Ravi Teja's strange gesture.
Finally, Ravi Teja reacted on the criticisms in a leading Telugu daily's interview published today. He said that his parents were aged and were not in a position to digest the bitter truth of their son's death. "I found it my responsibility to be with my parents at this tragic moment. Moreover, I can't see disfigured face of my brother and so I stayed away from funerals.," says Ravi Teja.
Ravi Teja further said that never ever had he gone to pay last respects to any cine celeb and he claimed it was his weakness. "I tried to visit Srihari garu's house when he was dead but returned owing to the same weakness," Ravi Teja added. He also made it clear that the person who had done funeral cereomy was his babai.
Meanwhile, Ravi Teja had all support to his deceased brother. I am proud to say none of our family members harmed anyone. Ravi Teja gave an explanation for attending the shoot of his new film on the very next day after the death of his brother. "I never want to trouble my producers and other team anyway." Ravi Teja said. Ravi Teja revealed that Bharat got his birthday celebrated in his house four days prior to his death. "And it was my last meeting with my brother," Ravi Teja said.
