47 Years Heroine Finally Marrying!

Multi talented artist Shobana, born as Shobana Chandrakumar Pillai aged almost 47 years is finally getting married, if rumors from Tamil Nadu are anything to believe in. The talented actress and Bharata Natyam dancer will soon tie the knot with a close family friend. 

Past few days, rumors have surfaced aggressively in all media forms on Shobana is just getting married. However, neither Shobana nor anyone close to her reacted on the news. After her last movie Thira in 2013, never did she come back to acting but was continuing with stage shows as a dancer. 

Meanwhile, Shobana was also said to be busy with dance school in Chennai. She also has an adopted daughter Anantha Narayani.

Shobana won the National Film Award for Best Actress twice for her performances in the films Manichitrathazhu (1993) and Mitr, My Friend (2001). She was also awarded Padma Shri for her contributions to dance in the year 2006.
