Uyyalawada: Will Chiru Break Myth?

Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy has been in news from the time when Mega Star Chiranjeevi has quit movies temporarily before completing his 150th. It has been touted to be one of the greatest scripts penned by Paruchuri brothers. Finally, it is gearing up towards the shoot in about a month or so.

To those who don’t know much about Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, he is the first rebellion leader from Telugu land to have fought against British Colonization. 

We have seen several movies made on the backdrop of India Freedom struggle. Most of the yesteryears flicks made on this genre have been blockbuster hits like Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Sardar Paparayudu. 

But from late nineties, we have seen majority projects with Freedom struggle backdrop ended up becoming biggest duds at Box Office. To name a few, we have Balakrishna’s Okka Magadu, Venky’s Subash Chandra Bose and Aamir Khan’s Mangal Pandey on the top. 

All these movies released amidst huge expectations and fan fare but remained to be the biggest disasters in their respective hero careers.

With Surender Reddy and his excellent technical team at helm of affairs for Uyyalawada, we are sure they will leave no stone unturned to make this a grand epic ever made in Telugu industry. We hope Chiru breaks this myth and let’s wish them an enduring success.
