Democracy in Congress Government?

From Kashmir to Kanya Kumari, people of all regions appeared to have gone hysteric to defeat then ruling party Congress. As a result, Modi led BJP won the election battle in 2014 with an astonishing majority.

People reckoned it their victory defeating the Congress party. And then, Modi too felt as if he were the hero of the nation. The BJP government completed three years of their administration. At this juncture, many people are reportedly repenting for electing BJP sarkar.

According to those BJP haters and opposition parties, BJP took anti democratic decisions which troubled  crores of people to the core. In the month of November, 2016, BJP indulged in historical blunder  with the decision of implementing demonitization which finally led to the deaths of 100+ innocent people who stood outside ATM queues. And recently, BJP government took another shocking decision which straightaway affects the food habits of down trodden people. Besides, BJP is contemplating to implement detention in classes 5 and 8 which will surely lead poor people distancing from education and illiteracy will surely be increased.

On the other side, no reduction of prices of daily commodities and fuel. "How were people benefited electing BJP? No one could make out. They might have got realized their blunder now. In spite of indulging in many scams, then Congress government never tried to grab the basic rights of people. They respected democracy to the fullest. People of  all religions lived peacefully and harmoniously," say some opposition leaders.

"Wonder what, even today most of the people are with BJP with reasons unknown. People need to be educated knowing what is good and what is bad in politics," they added.

However, BJP supporters say the BJP is the best government in all respects and Modi is trying sincerely to eradicate corruption in India. Whatsoever, let's wait and see the fate of political parties in 2019.
