Magadheera, the sensational hit from Ramcharan and SS Rajamouli has been on cards from long for a Bollywood remake. Though Madhu Manthena holds the Hindi remake rights, many issues stopped him from getting the project on sets.
However, Raabta set for June 9th release starring Sushant singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh in main leads directed by Dinesh Vijayan is a complete Magaheera rip off. As per official information from Geetha Arts camp office, Magadheera makers approached court against the release of Raabta seeking an injunction order.
Main allegation is that Raabta film is copied from unique story and plot line of Magadheera which comes under the violation of copyright. The Hyderabad court issued notices to Raabta producers and posted the matter to 1st June for a final hearing to decide whether Raabta must be permitted to release on 9th June or not. Looks like, Raabta makers will have to face many legal hurdles in the process.
