Strategy from Abhishek Pictures and hero Nikhil, director Sudheer Varma to keep Keshava at a safe three week distance away from Baahubali 2 is appreciated in film circles. A fact one has to agree is, Baahubali 2 became a Tollywood Kumbha Karna which ate bulk revenues and audience attention wherein rest of the films found no value in market.
As mentioned before, industry might need little time to re-adjust after a major Box Office reshuffle. Three weeks time can be called a bulwark against Baahubali 2 and Keshava played a smart move.
Nevertheless, Abhishek Pictures had this plan chalked very early because their last product Babu Baga Busy was to be rolled out first and then was Nikhil’s turn. Struck to their strategy, BBB was released as per schedule in following week to Baahubali 2. Now that it’s commercial fate is revealed, all hopes are pinned on Keshava because release timing is a key deciding factor.
