Director Vamsi Krishna Akella tried his best to generate excitement in Telugu audience by hiding his hero’s face in new movie Rakshakabhatudu. Finally, when the film has hit screens today in competition with Radha, Venkatapuram and Baahubali 2 in theaters, the result is said to be dismal and more negative than anticipated.

Yes, Sampoornesh Babu is the surprise attraction in Rakshakabhatudu but all the efforts put in by director went in vain. With poverty stricken production values and uninteresting narration, the film stands at zero chance to stick at theaters for at least one week. While many haven’t got reviews posted, those who watched have called it a dud.

Following the success of Hrudaya Kaleyam, in no time Sampoo became a burning topic in Telugu industry and is currently waiting for Kobbari Matta to hit the screens soon. But, films like Rakshakabhatudu will only damage his career and a revival can be impossible.
