The AP Government was too generous on historical film 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' giving tax relief for the film. On the contrary, the Government denied all sorts of permissions such as conducting pre release event in Vijayawada and Guntur, not permitting additional screening and benefit shows on the release day of 'Khaidi Number 150'.
And then, Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 2' was given permission for abnormal hike of ticket prices which were zoomed upto Rs.200 in many centres of AP. Furthermore, hundreds of benefit shows were given permissions by the Government. Telangana Government was also very kind of both the films citing the reasons as they were made with different genres.
And now, Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy' is being made as period entertainer based on the life story of the first Telugu freedom fighter. The movie has all the qualifications to get all benefits from the Governments. Reportedly, mega fans wished the film should get all sops given to 'BB 2' and GPS' films, especially the AP Government.
