Every producer cannot be a Shobu and Prasad or every director won’t have long lasting patience like SS Rajamouli to make Baahubali. Current day film equation is simple… set the combination, take a stipulated budget, finish it in prescribed time period and enjoy the profits. This is popular prevailing case and then the fact is Baahubalis can happen only once in a while.
After Baahubali, the next project Telugu cinema circles are eyeing very closely at exciting updates is Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy which happens to be Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s prestigious 151st.
As per inner buzz in film groups, Uyyalawada is to be made with strong core content and major budget to be invested will go only into production activities but not the time eating post production phase.
Uyyalawada’s time backdrop belongs to pre Independence era and there is a scope for extensive art work and vast scale CG for creating battle field atmosphere. But, Mega Star reportedly informed producer Ramcharan, director Surender Reddy and writers Paruchuri Brothers to keep a continuous tab on curtailing the time, money to be spent on post production which in turn can help in a proper release plan.
Uyyalawada will be wrapped in less than a year (by end of 2018) using all real geographic locations in and around Rayalaseema. If any minor mandatory corrections are needed at later hour on CG front, they are to be outsourced appropriately. For time being, this is the strategy from Konidela production house.
