Anushka Became Costly For Baahubali 2!

Artists generally take it as a boon to work with SS Rajamouli. There are many heroes and heroines waiting for a call from our ace director. Nevertheless, it would have been a dream of lifetime came in reality for heroine Anushka to spend nearly three years journeying with Jakkanna and that too on prestigious Baahubali.  

While Prabhas is alone in the team to have rejected parallel offers and dedicated his complete time for Baahubali, others like Anushka and Rana accepted simultaneous commitments from other directors. Especially, Anushka’s multi tasking proved costly affair for Baahubali producers both on money and time terms. How, read this. 

Anushka developed an odd physique while preparing for films like Size Zero. As and when Baahubali 2 shooting commenced, she failed to retain those beguile physical dimensions which she is popularized for. Unable to allot any extra time for Anushka to get her homework done, the team captured crucial scenes with the same zany look. 

Once the footage went into post production process, there was a major body correction needed on Anushka to contest with a robust and handsome looking Prabhas. Accordingly, professional visual expert teams were in a fixture. They have divided Anushka’s portions into parts, outsourced the body correction jobs to various VFX studios in India. Now that final output is knitted together, Deva Sena is said to be looking amazingly beautiful. But, the whole process proved to be an expensive technological experience costing approximately Rs. 2.5 Crores extra for producers.
