Pawan Kalyan's Rare Day One Record with Back to Back Films
As we reported, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu' collected a share of Rs.22.33 crores at the end of its first day run in Telugu states. Although the collections are still not upto the mark, the Power Star achieved a rare feat with these collections.
Pawan Kalyan's previous film 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' minted Rs.20.52 crores on the day one of its release. As 'Katamarayudu' also breached Rs.20 crores share, the Power Star stood as the only hero in Tollywood to have two films in Rs.20 crores club with day one AP and Telangana states.
The Power Star will team up with ace director Trivikram for his next. Keerthy Suresh has been selected as the lead actress of the movie. S Radhakrishna of Harika and Hassine Creations will bankroll the project. The movie may get released in the month of August.
