Finally, director Krish seems to have locked his next assignment. But, unfortunately it’s going to be in Bollywood and not Tollywood. Post the hit result for ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni,’ though many offers were floored at him yet he is to confirm one.
‘Veeraiah’ with Venkatesh would have been a sensational project in Tollywood. Due to some patent issues about Dr Keshava Reddy’s ‘Athadu Adavini Jayinchadu’ book, the project failed to take off. Later, Krish has narrated a superb story for Chiranjeevi and a final decision on this is awaited. Apparently, Mega Star is tuned to ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’ and Krish might have to hold up for few more months.
Meanwhile, Krish took a right decision to helm a Bollywood assignment with Akshay Kumar which was also in discussion from long. Last two to three weeks, Krish is spending most of the time in Mumbai with a prestigious production house. Most probably in a week or two, a firm and final announcement is expected. To all our knowledge, Krish earlier directed Akshay Kumar for ‘Gabbar Is Back,’ an official remake of ‘Tagore/Ramana.’
