Yet again, the ruling TDP of AP rubbed the wrong side of the lovers of democracy with its monopolistic stand. It is a known news how TDP suppressed candle rally revolution at RK beach Vizag seeking special status to the state. According to the reports, YCP MLA Roja was detained by the police at Gannavaram airport this afternoon.
Roja was supposed to attend 'National Women's Parliament' at Amaravati. The film actress turned MLA received the invitation from the government. Even then, the police detained her with proper reasons failed to have been explained by them.
It's learnt that Roja is being sent to Hyderabad through a vehicle at the moment. Meanwhile, the TDP wanted the 'Women's Parliment' should only boast about the TDP's achievements. As such, CBN's daughter-in-law, TRS MP Kavitha and other supporters of TDP were invited to the meet. Since Roja was expected to lambaste the government's failures, she wasn't allowed to attend the women's parliament.
