May it be due to intentionally or unintentionally, low key profile is being maintained with 'Baahubali 2' with various factors involved in it. Hitherto to six months of the release of 'Baahubali', humongous expectations and a rare hype and hoopla were generated on the film.
It could be due to the expectations triggered upon Megastar Chiranjeevi's landmark film 'Khaidi Number 150', 'Baahubali 2' was sidelined. As 'Khaidi' is reaping money at the ticket windows, everyone is still talking about the film. As such, 'Baahubali 2' had to occupy the backseat.
Until a couple of days ago, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu' appeared to have carried least expectations as the director had no superb track record. However, the movie's rights have been sold out to Rs.12.06 crores for Ceded area which acknowledged the kind of hidden expectations on the film. As the teaser launch of the film was delayed, huge protests were made by mega fans for the past two days in social media.The makers, the Northstar Entertainments, had to come up with the statement that they would release it shortly. Going by these developments, 'Katamarayudu' apeared to have turned out a huge obstacle for 'Baahubali 2's hype. But then, Rajamouli, the master strategist, may ponder alternative ways to keep the film in good touch with the audience.
