AP Youth Should't Make It a One Day Wonder

Youth of AP is all set to raise their voice for special status for AP through peaceful protests on 26th of this month at RK Beach, Vizag. This is unexpected but welcome move by the youth. There might have been several factors which prompted them protesting for the special category status.

Perhaps, Power Star Pawan Kalyan tweets in favour of Tamilians Jallikattu fight  and calling the AP's people to fight for special status, might have acted as a driving force for most of the youth to have resorted to a decision of making peaceful protests for special status. At this juncture, the youth should be aware of the following facts which make them enlightened knowing certain facts. Subsequently, they can think about future coarse of action.

* Except the ruling TDP, all the opposition political parties tried their best for special category status. Initially, the Congress party launched one crore signatures campaign for special status under the leadership of Megastar Chiranjeevi and AP PCC president Raghuveera Reddy. Thereupon, other political parties like YCP, CPI and CPM took part in the agitations every now and then. Some of the social activists have also joined the bandwagon later. 

* Recently, Pawan Kalyan made the movement to aggressive turn with three back to back public meets attended by him 

* The youth are now being advised not to be indulged in unnecessary criticisms on the opposition political parties and their leaders. Instead, they should pressurize the union government and the state's government with constructive criticism. 

* And most importantly, the students should not get the special status protests confined to just one day. Vizag beach protests should not just be a one day wonder. The youth need to develop such a tolerance that ultimately makes them achieving their goals.

* Meanwhile, we are hearing the reports that the youth have decided not to carry any party's national flag and no political parties involvemnet is ensured.
