The Janasena Chief and Power Star Pawan Kalyan has been serious on the TDP's stand on farmers who are losing their lands in Moola Lanka of West Godavari and Krishna Lanka at Amaravati. He felt the farmers tears would be a bad omen for the AP state. He said 207 acres of cultivating land of the farmers in Moola Lanka is being made dumping yard without the consent of the farmers. Further he disclosed that the TDP's MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao's contractor was held responsible for the injustice being done to the farmers.
"Don't they have common sense what the people think about these happenings? The CM is reviewing on Polavaram project's status every month. Why has he ignored such a huge problem?" he questioned. "Do they feel these farmers do not belong to their group? Farmers' appeal of getting compensation has been ignored. If at all they raise their voices against the contractor, cases are being filed against them.
The Government should be transparent in paying compensation to Krishna Lanka lands farmers. Moreover, they are dalits. The government should not be biased in paying compensation. It is still uncertain whether the government was given permission by the Green Tribunal for constructions or not. If not, Janasena demands the lands should be given back to the farmers," Pawan Kalyan added.
