Khaidi No.150 & Satakarni No Clash

Initially, it was envisaged that Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi Number 150' and Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' would lock horns on the same day during Sankranthi season. 

According to the official reports, 'Khaidi Number 150's release date was locked to January 11, while GPSK will hit screens on January 12. This is indeed, a sensible decision from the director-producer Krish. Actually, a few of the team members wished the film to get released on the same day when 'Khaidi Number 150' is releasing. It could have been the biggest blunder with the availability of screens, film's genre and its cast is concerned. 

Krish, however, is sensible enough for understanding that things would not go for movie's favour with unwanted competition. He might have kept in mind the welfare of the distributors and exhibitors, who bought the film's rights with fancy prices. Eventually, the film's release date was confirmed on January 12 keeping an end to controversies.
