GPS 'Desham-Meesam' Dialogue Interpretation

It is a known news that Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna uttered a powerful dialogue 'Desham meesam thippudam' in 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. This dialogue was put into interpretation by few critics. According to them, Desham (country) is personified as femine gender 'Bharat Matha' by our great patriots. It is never considered as masculine gender 'Bharat Pitha'. In that sense, it is impossible to twirl the moustache of 'Desham'.

Another argument says 'Desham-Meesam' dialogue would be apt if no personification is done to country. May be, the dialogue writer wrote it to get coordination with rhyming words and trademark Balayya ferocity.
