Annavaram & Rakhi Shares Controversy!

Young Tiger NTR's sister sentiment film 'Rakhi' got ten years of its release completed yesterday. On this occasion, some of the movie lovers in social media were seen expressing their wishes to the movie's team. 

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Annavaram' and 'Rakhi' got released with a gap of just one week in the year, 2006. Some of the netigens are expressing various doubts about the collections statuses both the films as they belonged to the same genre.

Then trade reports said 'Annavaram' collected a world wide share of Rs.19+ crores while 'Rakhi' accumulated Rs.10+ crores. 'Annavaram' in spite of being treated as an average film at the box office, collected Rs.79 lakhs in the first week's run of Kirshna district and occupied all time second biggest opener next to 'Stalin' in those days. NTR's 'Rakhi' was treated the above average venture then. The film stood at 10th position with its first week's shares in Krishna district then. In Kakinada, 'Annavaram' collected Rs.30 lakhs share in single theater while 'Rakhi' accumulated a decent share of Rs.10 lakhs.
