Tollywood has witnessed a couple of Rs.80+ crores share movies. "Had these movies been released in Demonetization, their collections would have been confined between Rs.55 and Rs.60 crores," opined the trade people. "And this year too, two big films collected Rs.76 crores and Rs.62 crores respectively. Their value would also have been depreciated drastically with Demonetization. But then, fortunately, they escaped Demonetization," they added.

However, the trade people are optimistic about Sankranthi releases. Now that, two months would be completed after Demonetization came into effect, Sankranthi films may not have any impact of Demonetization," they hoped.
