In the wake of demonetization, film industry is passing through a bland phase. Ramcharan and Allu Aravind’s decision to release ‘Dhruva’ on December 9th in this miserable phase is driven by many factors. To beat demonetization heat and pull audience to theaters, role of media in film promotions play key part.

But, Ramcharan seems to be completely laid back and clearly battling with set of his own personal problems. This is primary conclusion media members got to when attended Ramcharan ‘Dhruva’ press meet today. Actually, press is informed to have a chit chat with Mega Power Star in the morning. Later the time was postponed couple of times finally fixing at 4PM.

Eager scribes gathered in good numbers at venue on time and Charan’s punctuality was perfect as he made an entry at 5:30 then packed the interactive session in less than 30 minutes. He gave a perfunctory little smile of dismissal and one word answers for many questions asked by journalists. We guess being reclusive is a poor way to make friendship with media.

If Charan is running with time and has to board the flight to USA by 7 PM today, what was the necessity to schedule interviews at such late hour? Press people were seen discussing this topic in annoyance. Pre release tensions are routine, excusable reasons for any film but for a project like ‘Dhruva’ made on massive budget and from a prestigious production house, this sort of slip-offs can’t be anticipated and accepted.

All in all, Charan drained off media enthusiasm with bad planning, taking media for granted.
