Why Big B Said No to Balayya Film?

It is a known news that Big B Amitabh Bachchan was approached by Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna and Creative Director Krishna Vamsi for a key role in their combo film 'Raithu'. It was speculated that Amitabh was offered President of India role in the film.

However, there has been a strong reason involved in Big B saying no to Balayya's film. According to the reports, Amitabh Bachchan is one among the list of next presidential candidates at the moment. As such, Big B thought it would not be fair doing the same role in 'Raithu'.

Now that Amitabh turned down the offer, makers found no better replacement for Amitabh. As a result, the project is likely to go on shelves, as per film nagar reports. Balakrishna is currently busy working for his ongoing historical entertainer 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. Directed by Krish the film got January 11, 2017 as its release date. Shriya Sharan will be seen opposite to Balakrishna in the film.
