It is a known news that Pro Bjp media stood as one of the key forces for the humongous victory of the BJP in 2014's general elections. Congress party's disinterest on maintaining own media was also one of prime factors for the party's defeat and BJP's victory in the elections.
In Telugu states too, a media baron's number one newspaper, its tail newspaper CBN Chandrajyothi and many other media houses extend their support to the BJP and the TDP jointly. The time when Modi made a historical announcement on high currency ban, the media resorted to extreme flattery on the PM.
However, pro TDP-BJP media's delight lasted no longer. As the people across the country went on rage against Modi and his hasty decision, Pro Bjp media reluctantly criticized the decision of the PM for four or five days. Since the things appeared to have turned negative on the future prospects of the BJP while opposition parties like Congress, AAP, Trinamul Congress and left parties suddenly gained momentum taking up the task in favour of the people, pro TDP-BJP media as usually started praising Modi. It has been noticed that half of the pages of a top newspaper have been filled with Modi's bhajana today. But then, how far these desperate attempts of Pro Bjp media go fruitful? Perhaps, we'll be getting clarity in near future.
