King Nagarjuna's devotional entertainer 'Om Namo Venkatesaya's release date has been in doldrums till some days ago. But then, the latest reports suggest that agreements are being done with some of the theaters across Telugu states to release the film for Sankranthi.
On the other side, Sankranthi season has been tightly packed with Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi Number 150', Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' and Sharwanand's 'Shatamanambhavathi'.
Nagarjuna's 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' scored blockbuster for this year's Sankranthi amidst huge competition from other big ventures like 'Naannaku Prematho', 'Dictator' and 'Express Raja'. Perhaps, the makers of ONM takes this as a granted and feels it as a sentiment to release the film for Sankranthi season. We have to wait for Sankranthi to see how well the movie is received by the audience. Darshakendrudu K Raghavendra Rao has wielded megaphone for the film.
