Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ almost followed same ‘Bahubali’ release, publicity strategies and the end results are two record shaking movies released back to back. In fact, a release clash between ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Bahubali’ was expected during those days but due to timely involvement of big heads, Mahesh shifted his film by few weeks thus reaping more benefits.
Apparently, trade circles are anticipating a same modus operandi to be followed by Mahesh for his upcoming untitled Murugadoss directorial. Going by the latest buzz, ‘Bahubali 2’ and Mahesh Babu are looking at possible release dates in April end or May first week respectively. Though it is clear immaturity on part of a section of media to expect an encounter between these two biggies, for sure Mahesh Babu would be more than happy to get his film in theaters after watching the result of ‘Bahubali - The Conclusion.’
Like ‘Bahubali,’ the fever will be high for its sequel across globe. Rajamouli’s magnum opus has the power of drawing new section of unseen public to theaters like what happened in first installment. These untouched crowds came out with ‘Bahubali’ made the difference to ‘Srimanthudu’ revenues. As it is, Mahesh is set to cash on ‘Bahubali 2’ mania by diverting the attention rapidly onto his movie.
