As a producer Sai Korrapati’s track record is penurious. He hasn’t got a right commercial hit from long time. After ‘Legend’ and ‘Oohalu Gusagusalde,’ a series of bad films made him to suffer financially. ‘Tungabhadra, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, Manamantha’ were some of his record disasters. Tarnishing his clean brand, Sai distributed a filthy film ‘Guntur Talkies’ to recover these losses. ‘Jyo Achyuthananda’ is also average on Box Office terms.

With such a poverty stricken course of time in recent times, why Income Tax sleuths attacked Sai Korrapati office yesterday and why Varahi accounts came under Income Tax scanner? As a producer and distributor, there isn’t much to highlight about Sai’s flop series. According to latest information, raid continued at his Manikonda office till today early morning 4 AM.

Getting more into details, this IT search hasn’t got anything to do with Sai’s film business. His association with TDP leaders, bagging of high bid construction projects in Andhra Pradesh (including Amaravathi), mismanagement of bank accounts with huge turnovers and a high level political connection are said to be few reasons made IT department to question Sai on his income sources.
