For the first time in contemporary Telugu cinema history, Mega heroes have lost their dominating stand. With more than half dozen heroes from their camp, none of them are placed in Tollywood Top 3. Of course, these highest grossing films list will be frequently edited but never have we seen the list missing Pawan Kalyan or Ramcharan names. 

Entry of ‘Janatha Garage’ into Top 3 position made ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ to get down by one position to settle on fourth. Yes, none could have expected ‘Janatha Garage’ to break Mega records and Tarak has done it with ease when times worked really in his favor. With Prabhas ‘Bahubali’ remaining on top 1 followed by Mahesh Babu ‘Srimanthudu’ at second immediately followed by NTR ‘Janatha Garage’ at prestigious third, the onus shifts on to Ramcharan because he is the one from Mega camp raring to go with new movie ‘Dhruva’ release in next couple of months.

Yes, ‘Dhruva’ coming as a remake to Tamil hit ‘Thani Oruvan’ in Surender Reddy direction had those commercial attributes to alter the toppers list. Later on there is Chiranjeevi with ‘Khaidi No 150’ and Pawan Kalyan ‘Katama Rayudu,’ promising list from Mega family. Let us see, how far ‘Dhruva’ can take this big burden of instilling the lost respect and credibility on Mega heroes.
