Neither NTR Nor Prabhas For Ugram!

One of the biggest commercial blockbusters in recent times in Kannada film industry was ‘Ugramm.’ The massive action thriller released in 2014 made Sri Murali a Star in Sandalwood. Later, there were so many negotiations with original makers checking on the possibility of remaking the same in Telugu either with Prabhas or Junior NTR. In fact, ‘Ugramm’ remade as ‘Agastya’ in Orissa does wonders.

Now, latest update says that ‘Ugram’ title is no more available in Telugu. It’s not the story or remake point, it’s just the title is reportedly lifted by director Jayant C Paranjee. His new project on Eshan Entertainments starring Nilesh Eeti and Isabel is officially titled as ‘Ugram.’

Much to the intensity in title, ‘Ugram’ is a powerful action flick between a Mumbai mafia don and a special police officer. The project is likely to go on sets from November and will be shot exclusively in Mumbai, Hyderabad. So, it’s neither Prabhas nor NTR, a newcomer ran away with ‘Ugram,’ indeed a ferocious title.
