Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Puri Jagannath’s upcoming film is ‘Ism.’ Very recently, they have released ‘Ism’ teaser for a sensational response. Kalyan Ram in a complete makeover, Puri showed his ultimate chaotic mark with Spanish language and bewildered editing throwing an exercise for audience. As per old reports, ‘Ism’ is almost in final production stage and scheduled for Dasara release.
However, here comes latest update that Kalyan Ram is seeking to re-shoot few of the episodes and is also feeling gloomy with weak pre release reactions from buyers. Staying up to his reputation of straining the producers, Puri is known to have overspent the budget nowhere close to Kalyan Ram’s market value. Surprisingly, rates quoted by distributors in domestic and overseas markets are totally in non-sync.
Making himself assured that ‘Ism’ can be most probably a cost failure venture or hardly break even, Kalyan Ram is at least trying to improve his image and Box Office mileage by refining those scenes which are observed feeble in overall narration. Resultantly, 'Ism' release might also be pushed to November.
Apparently, Puri is not in best of the forms and distributors are still doubtful why is this director gambling with such budgets. Some things never change in industry.
