Kabali Remake - A Bad Idea

What made ‘Kabali’ a special film is the casting of Super Star Rajinikanth. Neither director Pa Ranjith nor heroine Radhika Apte nor any of the casting, technical crew helped the film in getting such huge hype. It was alone Super Star, trembled Indian Box Office with unbelievable opening records. Meanwhile, a buzz began on Bollywood remake of ‘Kabali’ is in idea stages and Big B Amitabh Bachchan is heard to be the man for central character.

By any sorts, ‘Kabali’ remake is a bad idea. Film neither had strong screenplay nor any explosive action. All the scenes shown in the movie were meant to explore Rajini’s stardom and nothing more. Other than Rajini, there’s no way this film can succeed. On the other hand, plots involving mafia and gang wars aren’t new for Bollywood. In fact, Amitabh has also juiced such genre.

Anyways, the idea is in preliminary stage or it could have been an interesting gossip created by Kollywood agencies as a part and parcel of ‘Kabali’ promotions. Finally, the inference is clear. Nobody can be a ‘Kabali’ except Rajini.
