Why Devullu Leaving Vijayawada?

Devullu (Gods) of Vijayawada city are lamenting. Citing the reason as expansion of roads for Krishna Pushkaralu, the Government of AP started demolishing some of the oldest temples and sent the idols to other places. 

According to the rules of 'Aagama Shashtra', the idols on the banks of river Krishna should not get their places shifted. If the rules are deviated it would be treated as the biggest sin. As many as 40 swamijis are agitating today in the city of Vijayawada against the government's decision of demolishing the temples. On the other hand, a MP, who is renounced as the best covert, came down heavily on Swamijis with humiliating words. As he faced the ire of his foul mouth, he had to receive brickbats from all corners. 

In the meanwhile, Ap Government is said to have understood the damage done with the idol shifting, it appointed a five member committee to pacify the agitators. Seems like the government is facing bitter experiences with Godavari and Krishna pushkaralu. As we know, several people were killed in a stampede on the day one of Godavari pushkaralu.
