Rakul Becomes T-Wood Queen 2016?

The first half of Tollywood ended on a happy note with considerable number of successes of big and small films. Rakul Preet Singh has shown upper hand with good success ratio comparing with other heroines. Rakul's 'Naannaku Prematho' has got above average result with Rs.50 crores share collections. The movie was also praised by critics due to its intelligent make by the director Sukumar. 

Rakul Preet Singh was also the female lead in biggest hit of the year 'Sarrainodu'. The movie has also been placed among top five grossers of Tollywood with Rs.75.75 crores share. Rakul is currently romancing Mega Power Star Ram Charan in highly awaited film 'Dhruva'. This movie is also expected to be the blockbuster at the box office. Obviously, Rakul has got an opportunity to stand as Tollywood's queen of this year. 

Among other top heroines, Samantha got mixed results with 'Brahmotsavam' and 'A..Aa'. Kajal Aggarwal's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' and 'Brahmotsavam' got bombed at the ticket windows. Tamannah's 'Oopiri' stood as an above average and feel good entertainer. And none of the films of Anushka and Shruthi Haasan were released.
