Brm Effect: Mahesh-ARM Budget Slashed!

Colossal failure of 'Brahmotsavam' is currently showing stars to its buyers and exhibitors. With huge sum of Rs.72+ crores at stake, the movie appears sure to get 50% losses in the current scenario. 

It was earlier planned that Prince Mahesh and AR Murugadoss' film would be made with Rs.100 crores. Also, the movie was thought to be made as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. However, latest reports say the makers are all set to slash the budget from Rs.100 crores to Rs.50 crores. They want the film to be made as a safe venture anyway. Also, they are reportedly rechecking the idea of making the movie as a bilingual. Whatsoever, official details should come from horse's mouth. Until then, speculations will go on.

'Brahmotsavam', in the meanwhile collected Rs.26.51 crores at the end of its first weekend run world wide. This Srikanth Addala's directorial venture was produced on PVP Cinema. Kajal, Samantha and Pranitha have played opposite to Mahesh in this family entertainer.
