Having got inspired from 'Baahubali's extra benefit shows and its phenomenal collections on day one, Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' was also screened in record number of benefit shows on the eve of the release of the movie. Though the movie got its collections increased on the day one of its release, no great response was noticed for benefit shows.
Now that the makers have understood screening numerous benefit shows is not a good idea, they reportedly thought of another plan for their movie getting maximum collections on day one.
Reports are that the Telangana government has accepted to screen 5 shows in all single screens in Telangana state on the day one of the film's release. The first show of the film will start at 8:10 am in all single screens. As we know, Abhishek Pictures is distributing the movie in Telangana. It remains to be seen whether 5 shows collections in single screens will be on par with the collections of benefit shows or not. Also, it is to be seen if 'Brahmotsavam' breaks day one records of 'Baahubali' and 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' or not. It is a known fact that both 'BB' and 'SGS' set day one records because of extra benefit shows.
