Dismal performances of recent mega ventures made mega fans baffled. Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee's box office fate was a big jolt for the makers, who actually expected a blockbuster. Prior to the release of 'Bruce Lee', the film carried huge hype and hoopla and was sold out to astronomical prices in all areas. Finally, the movie ended up as a disaster with Rs.40+ crores share collections. This was a record among flop movies' collections then.
'Sardaar Gabbar Singh's pre release hype witnessed Power Star Pawan Kalyan's stamina in Tollywood. Extraordinary number of benefit shows and record breaking first day collections can never be forgotten by the trade people. Unfortunately, this movie too stood as a huge flop at the box office. Even then the movie crossed Rs.50 crores and proved Pawan Kalyan's stamina with a disaster result. Had both 'Bruce Lee' and 'SGS' carried at least average talk on the day of their releases, the movies would have become the safe ventures for everyone who associated with those movies. Mega Prince Varun Tej's 'Loafer' also stood as a flop venture.
At this juncture, mega fans need to get resuscitated with more vehemence from other mega films readying for release this summer. Truly, Stylish Star Allu Arjun 's 'Sarrainodu' and Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej's 'Supreme' films look promising and appear to score big at the box office bringing laurels to fans and the makers. Both the films are tightly packed with love, comedy and other commercial elements to woo all sections of audience. Wish that Allu Arjun and Sai cheer fans with big successes.
