Satakarni to Cross Soorakarna?

Everyone knows the fondness of Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna on mythological and historical films. As of now, Balakrishna worked for a couple of mythological and devotional entertainers like 'Akbar Salim Anarkali',  'Srikrishnarjuna Vijayam', 'Pandurangadu' and 'Sriramarajyam'. However, none of the movies did great at the ticket windows. Nonetheless, Balayya's fantasy film 'Bhairavadweepam' got super hit result. 

According to a study, late NTR's 'Danaveera Soorakarna' (1977) was the last big hit among mythological entertainers. It is a known fact that Balakrishna is doing the historical entertainer 'Gathamiputra Satakarni'. Since 'Satakarni' and 'Soorakarna' are sounding alike 'Satakarni' is expected to be as big hit as 'DVS Karna'. 

But the thing is that historical entertainers, over the decades, haven't performed so great at the box office. Gunasekhar's 'Rudhramadevi' was a little better with Rs.50 crores share collections. 'Satakarni' should not only become a big hit like 'Soorakarna' but also should it cross the collections of 'Rudhramadevi'.
