Oopiri Crosses a Milestone in the US

King Nagarjuna's 'Oopiri' has reportedly crossed the milestone of $1M in the US on Tuesday. The movie, which was opened with rave reviews, has continuously been getting good collections in the territory from day one of its release. The film is expected to collect between $1.3M and $1.5M in the US.

In contrast, the movie is exhibiting mediocre performance in AP and Telangana. The movie has reportedly crossed the share of Rs.10 crores in Telugu states at the end of its five days run. As maximum number of new movies are lined up for release on April 1 and subsequent days, tough times ahead for the movie to sustain well at the box office. 

'Oopiri' has Karthi in a crucial role in the film as a caretaker of Nagarjuna. Milky beauty Tamannah was seen opposite to him. Gopi Sunder has scored the tunes of the movie. The movie was directed by Vamshi Pydipally on PVP Cinema.
