Huge Demand for Sardaar Post Audio & Trailer Release

That is Power Star Pawan Kalyan! Even though theatrical trailer of the movie received mixed response, surprisingly, theatrical business of the movie picked up momentum post audio launch and trailer release of the movie. 

As we reported earlier, 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh's theatrical rights have been sold out to Rs.80+ crores. And now, exhibitors from various A, B, C and D centers are approaching the buyers with record prices to acquire the prints for their theaters. Subsequently, there has been a big demand from SGS in the trade. Also, it is learnt that buyers are expecting profits even before the release of the movie with record amounts of share guarantees and advances being received by them from exhibitors. For an instance, distributors received Rs.67 lakhs from B, C centers like Hindupuram, Kadiri and Dharmavaram in Ceded area.

According to early estimates, 'SGS' is expected to collect Rs.60 crores in its first week run itself and more records are expected to be broken with record openings. Directed by KS Ravindra the movie has its music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Kajal Aggarwal played female lead of the movie. The movie was produced by Sharrat Marar on Northstar Entertainment in association with Pawan Kalyan Creativ Works and Eros International.
