Nani's 'Krishnagadu' a Loss Venture?

Natural Star Nani's 'Krishnagadi Veerapremagaadha' carried decent talk on the day of its release. Also, the movie got rave reviews and the media encouraged this film more than like anything. Nevertheless the end result of the movie acknowledges the movie as a failure venture. 

'KVPG' was made with Rs.12 crores budget and the production team had to incur 2 more crores for prints and publicity. Abhishek Pictures has acquired the movie's rights for Rs.8.5 crores while Overseas and other areas' rights have been sold out to Rs.4. The got 4 more crores in the form of satellite rights. 

'KVPG', however, finally accumulated a share of around Rs.10 crores world wide. The movie was a successful venture in the US with half a million dollars collections. But then, it had to suffer with losses in other areas wherever the movie got released. 14 Reels Entertainments has produced the movie. Hanu Raghavapudi has directed the movie.
