Variations in Film Results of US & India Worrying!

A filmmaker wishes his movie running great in all areas equally well including Overseas. When the movie doesn't live upto the expectations in some of the areas, he goes lamenting.. 

Of late we have been witnessing some of the movies, which scored blockbUsters in the Us, turned out either duds or average grossers at the domestic box office. Especially, a few big heroes' films fall into this category. This trend seems to have been picked up momentum this year as a few films did well in Us this year, but couldn't reach to break even in domestic box office. Some of the low budgeted movies are also experiencing the similar fate this year.

There are several factors found responsible this trend to have been emerged and media is also one among those factors. Now that, some of the media flatters movie collections of Us over the board, some of the young and new filmmakers are trUsting their words and are making movies targeting Us audiences. But then, majority of audiences at the domestic market aren't showing interest watching these movies. As such, one should not mislead young filmmakers projecting too much about Us collections of movies as domestic market always gets lion's share in collections and heroes who dominate this zone are real number ones of Tollywood.
