‘Yevado Okkadu,’ a project materialized between hero Raviteja, director Venu Sreeram and producer Dil Raju was dropped at middle stages after enjoying a lavish muhurath function. While media reported on creative differences between Ravi and Dil Raju as basic reason why the venture was put on backburner, here we came across one more new speculation on Raviteja being so rigid regarding his remuneration.
Yes, Ravi actually liked the story narrated by Venu and gave nod to become a part of Dil Raju production. It was later on the real problem began. Ravi was demanding a huge salary of 9 Crore while Dil Raju was willing to pay up to Rs. 6 Crores, which is fairly good amount according to Mass Raja’s genuine market value. As deadlock situation continued for few weeks with either of them getting soft on their stands, the project is considered dead.
With the same technician team retained and Venu Sreeram ordered for few changes into the final script drafted, currently Dil Raju is planning to rope in Nagarjuna as hero in the place of Raviteja and ‘Yevado Okkadu’ can be considered still on.
