Dhanya Balakrishna, the expressive face which fell into the eyes of top directors like Murugadoss, Gautham Vasudev Menon and others hasn’t got any boost from there on to become a star heroine. Her career graph gives a feeling of a promising talent went random and vague with no proper direction. After ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu,’ one would have thought about Dhanya to strike big but not so.

Off late, Dhanya’s heroine trials started and ended very soon with only one film ‘Second Hand’ from Kishore Tirumala. Then on, she is also quite happy doing second order characters supporting the main heroine in many films. Take it from ‘Run Raja Run’ to ‘Nenu Shailaja,’ the way is long enough with ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam, Raju Gari Gadi, Bhale Manchi Roju’ and so on.

Good thing is, Dhanya can also be considered as positive omen for directors and producers in medium budgets because her mere appearance scored a majority of hits. Some people quickly realize their strong area to hold on for long time and Dhanya is too good, safe in her place.
