If there is any one reason for Gopichand ‘Soukhyam’ and Balakrishna ‘Dictator’ to remain scared about, then it is the brand of Kona Venkat attached to both these big releases. Of course, these projects are signed by Kona before his image got tarnished with back to back disasters ‘Tripura, Akhil, Bruce Lee’ and ‘Sankarabharanam.’

Both common audience and critics are furious hearing the name of Kona because he is blamed of being the only sole reason in degrading creative standards of Telugu cinema by forcibly rubbing his self designed template. After four failures, Kona should have realized the severe damage done and he is remaining distant from new movie releases. But still, how far these films are devoid of Kona’s formulaic treatment?

Apparently, makers of both ‘Dictator’ and ‘Soukhyam’ are taking enough precautions by hiding Kona’s name from early promotions. Thankfully, Kona is also not raising any controversy out of this and is damn silent. Hopefully, this silence should help the movies to evolve as Box Office winners.
