On the other side, mega fans have gone jubilant with numerous references of Power Star Pawan Kalyan shown in the movie. In the beginning, the makers have thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi in the title cards of the movie. Pruthvi, in one of the scenes says, " SOUTH INDIAN SUPERSTAR RAJANIKANTH THARVATHA EVAROO RARANUKUNNAM.. KAANEE POWER STAR VACHCHADU KADHAA!" In another scene he enacts the climax scene of 'Atharintiki Daredhi'. 

Posani, who played the role of an astrologers, says " ELECTIONS LO POWER STAR OKA POLITICAL PARTY KI SUPPORT CHESTHEY JANAM VOTLU GUDHDHARU." Meanwhile, Sampath Nandi's directorial skills in making this commercial potboiler have lauded by critics movie goers.
