'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' Targets GHMC Polls?

Initially, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' was supposed to be released for Sankranthi, 2016. However, owing to the delay in shoot of the movie, the makers have contemplated April 8 as another possible release date of the film. 

On the other hand, the Telangana State's government has recently filed an affidavit to the high court that they would conduct and complete the 'Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corportion' (GHMC) polls by 31st January, 2016. Then again, the process maybe delayed further due to issue and correction of voter ID cards and linking voter ID with Aadhar card.

In the meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan reportedly wished to get his movie preponed for the better mileage in GHMC polls. Pawan Kalyan's 'Janasena' is expected to contest in the elections. If not, it might extend its support to its allied parties the BJP and the TDP. If at all 'SGS' gets released prior to the GHMC polls and scores a blockbuster, the result of the movie turns out to be a huge advantage for 'Janasena'. It remains to be seen how well the things turn out to be.
