How Is the Response of 'Loafer' Title?

Initially the production team of Mega Prince Varun Tej's upcoming film considered 'Loafer' title for their movie. Later, it was heard that the makers were pondering to change the title of the movie as 'Maa Amma Seethamahalakshmi'. Finally, they preferred 'Loafer' title for the movie and a trailer, which was released yesterday, received good response among the movie patrons.

Though the title 'Loafer' suggests negative character of the hero with bad qualities in him, it received positive response from all corners. Moreover the title was catchy and a good number of movies with similar titles got super hit results in the past. Puri, himself, worked for the movies with negative titles such as 'Idiot', 'Pokiri' etc.

Some of the people are of the wrong notion that 'Loafer' is an abusive word. However, dictionary meaning of the word 'Loafer' is 'A lazy person' or ' A person who avoids work and spends his time idly'. 

'Loafer' was starred by Disha Patani as a lead actress. Sunil Kashyap scored the music of this romantic and action entertainer. The movie was jointly produced by CK Entertainments and Sri Subha Swetha Films. Puri Jaganndh is the director.
