Nagarjuna Puts Pressure on Kamal Hasan!

Akkineni Nagarjuna does not want any big opposition to be challenging against his son Akhil’s debut film release ‘Akhil’ slated for November 11th release. Nagarjuna is said to be very cautious in planning this film and when the time for release has come nearer, he is also assisting producers Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy in a perfect release strategy.

Cashing on Diwali festive holiday occasion, many dubbing films like ‘Trisha Leda Nayanathara, Aavesham’ and ‘Mariyan’ booked their release slots from 10th of this month. Apparently, none of them can be considered as a big threat to Akhil except Kamal Hasan’s direct Telugu film ‘Cheekati Rajyam.’ When Nagarjuna is informed by Nithin about Kamal’s release plan, immediately Akkineni family dropped into action.

Result is, Kamal Hasan came to Hyderabad today as a part of ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ promotions to declare that his film is not hitting the screens on 11th of this month but pushed to 20th. Industry circles are gossiping that, Nagarjuna’s pressure technique has worked. ‘We waited for good release date and good theaters. So, it is 20th locked,’ Kamal Hasan responded differently. Bottom line is clear; ‘Akhil’ is using all the influence drifting oppositions for other dates.
