Srimanthudu Tamil Result's Effect on Brahmotsavam Tamil?

Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam' is on rapid pace of its shoot now. The movie was initially thought to be made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil versions. However, the makers have dropped their idea on making the movie as Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Instead, the movie will be made in its Telugu version and will be dubbed into Tamil version if possible. 

The decision of the makers of 'Brahmotsavam' appears to be strange but they were quite sensible enough taking such a wise decision. Mahesh's latest offing 'Srimanthudu' got blockbuster result everywhere it got released but its Tamil version could not live upto expectations. The Tamil dubbing version of the movie collected a share of Rs.75 lakhs at the end of its full run. 'Srimanthudu's Tamil fate might have prompted the makers of 'Brahmotsavam' to drop the idea of making the movie as Telugu and Tamil bilingual. 

'Brahmotsavam' has Samantha, Kajal and Pranitha Subhash in female lead roles. Touted to be a complete family entertainer 'Brahmotsavam's music is being scored by Mickey J Meyer. Srikanth Addala is directing the movie. PVP Cinema and MB Entertainment are jointly producing the movie. The movie is slated for release on April 9, 2016.
